What Happens When All Melting ice in the Arctic?

National Geographic recently put out an interactive map that presents how the situation on planet Earth if all the ice in the world melted away. Melting ice will raise sea levels as high as 65.8 meters which resulted in several major cities around the world sinks including New York, London, Amsterdam, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, and Jakarta. Many countries will lose territory and map the world will never be the same again.  Based on research, there are more than eight million cubic kilometers of ice on the surface of the Earth, and according to some scientists it takes approximately 5,000 years to melt everything.

If humans continue to increase the number of carbon into the atmosphere could be later ice will disappear from the surface of the planet Earth, even the average temperature of the planet will increase from 14.4 degrees Celsius to 26.67 degrees Celsius or rise almost doubled!

Here is a map of the state of the world after all the ice melts:

The African continent is only a slight change. However, some cities will sink like a whole city Dakar and Bissau city. Look farther north we will see a few cities in the Middle East such as the drowning of Baghdad, Alexandria, Kuwait, and Dubai.

Some big cities like Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo and Seoul will sink. Form islands of Sumatra and Borneo would not be the same again. Then more than 600 million people in China will lose their homes and the most severe of Bangladesh will be completely erased from the map.

Not so much a change in the continent of Australia except the emergence of a new bay that extends until it reaches to the middle of the kangaroo continent.

London living memories. Venice annexed the Adriatic sea. Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki sink. In fact the whole of the Netherlands will live to be history.

North America

East coast of America will experience a more severe impact than the West Coast of America. When the West Coast state of California will be "islands" in the East Pesisi there will be many sunken city like New York, Miami, Tampa, and Boston. Even the U.S. capital, Washington DC, then most will sink.

South America

Amazon River will be widened so that seems to divide the country Brazil. Buenos Aires will sink, some will sink Paraguay. Only the cities on the west coast who are more fortunate because it is located in the highlands.

We will see terrain in Antarctica for the first time. Eastern Antarctica has more land than the western part of Antarctica. Indeed the East Antarctic ice sheet that has the thickest ice so maybe this is where the end of the world before completely melted.

Tsunami Natural Phenomenon "Mist"

JR Hott is a helicopter pilot air tour a tour agent in Panama City, Florida. On the day in which natural phenomena occur, normally a helicopter pilot advised to remain on the runway, waiting for the fog of air is lost, but it flew by helicopter Hott to take photographs from space.

And the result Hott managed to capture a weather phenomenon in the sky above the city of rare.

Hott following comments regarding the events that happened:

"When the temperature, humidity and wind mixed with the right composition, it will form the air fog swept high-rise buildings along the edge of the beach, and this time the fog is formed swept from west to east coast.

"We immediately jumped into a helicopter and fly right away, a few minutes after we were airborne, helicopter pad we were completely covered by fog the tsunami."

Yes, it's a natural phenomenon known as the "Water Tsunami" or "Tsunami Air". The photos were successfully taken off the air waves very clearly shows the kind of waves that swept the mist resembles the high-rise buildings on the waterfront Florida, similar to a tsunami wave of sea water that rises to the land surface.

Warm air flowing from the Gulf of Mexico, hampered by tight rows of buildings, skyscrapers, so hembusannya rise up beyond the buildings, at the altitude of the warm air meets the cold breeze that instantly turns into clouds, and then be blown back down past the side building, after it warmed again by the temperature of the land and slowly disappear.

uniqueness Oasis in Central Crater Volcano

Oasis in the desert is amazing, but if in the middle of the crater, this extraordinary novel. In Libya, there Waw an Namus, the pretty green oasis in the middle of a volcanic eruption craters.  Oasis is often present in the middle of the desert like a paradise. Blue lake is overgrown with green trees to release the tired and thirsty traveler who is looking through the desert.

As quoted from Amusing Planet, apparently in Libya there is also a beautiful oasis in the middle of the crater of the volcano that has erupted. Waw an Namus its name, its location is in the middle Waw Al Kabir and Al Kufrah.

Wide green area is approximately 4 km to 10-20 km desert dust surrounded by a black former eruption that happened hundreds of years ago.

Around the crater, there are 3 saltwater lake surrounded by green trees. It's beautiful to the eye. Waw an Namus name itself means "Oasis Mosquito", because a lot of mosquitoes in the nearby lake.

Oasis is becoming known world after told by Karl Moritz von Beurmann (1862) and Gerard Rohlfs (1881). After that, more and more people who happened to be passing, or deliberately come to it. If the political situation in Libya is back to normal, certainly a lot of tourists who come to this oasis.

Besides just been using a camel, or a motor vehicle, there are also tourists who spend the night there. If you want to stay overnight, you have to bring mosquito repellent and bed clothes were closed because there once known as the kingdom of mosquitoes.

Could There Detergent Super?

Television ads often overwhelm us with sweet promises, that certain detergent can remove all stains in clothing. Is this true? Cornell University have conducted research on stains on clothes, here are the facts:

1. Noda is a chemical reaction between the material stain (staining agent) and fibers on clothing.

2. No clothes cleaner that can clean all kinds of stains as stains are unique.

3. The new stain occurs more easily cleaned than a long-lasting stain.

4. Media hot water or cold water depends with the type of stain that occurs. There is a stain that can easily be cleaned with hot water, there are even making soluble stains and spreads deeper into the fibers. So also with cold water.

5. There is a type of material that is so strong stain binds to the fibers so that any attempt could not succeed in removing the stain from the fiber.

Greenhouse story 26,000 hectares in Spain

In 1960 and 1970 a southwestern coast in Almeria, Spain so arid. But since the 1980s, everything changed. This area is now so producing vegetables which supply half of the demand in the European market. Various types of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and zucchinis produced here.

An area of 26,000 hectares in the coastal farming areas so thanks to the greenhouse. Do not imagine the house where farming is made of glass, but rather a simple land-roofed and plastic walls alone. As a result, the temperature inside can reach 45 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures were so high causing local residents are reluctant to work as a laborer. As a result, illegal immigrant workers from Africa and Eastern Europe be an option. Unfortunately, the conditions here are very poor. Rarely is there a toilet on the farm, farm laborers living in tough economy only paid 33 to 36 Euros per day. Prostitution has increased.

On the benefits side of the trade and industry, Almeria greenhouse is profitable. Besides a vegetable supplier in Europe, the emergence of profitable plastic greenhouse plastic factory. Cities around Almeria is a plastics manufacturer made a profit without regard for the environment. Waste plastic cover rivers, indirectly pollute the sea.

Death of a sperm whale that washed up on the south coast of Spain a few months ago allegedly linked to greenhouse Almeria. Environmentalists find indicators of approximately 17 kg of plastic waste dumped into the sea around.

Interestingly, the presence of thousands of acres of 'plastic house' lower local average temperature 0.3 degrees Celsius every 10 years since 1983. While other Spanish regions have increased.
